I am Astha Acharya. I am a mother of two toddler and have been a resident of St. Louis since 2012. I graduated from Washington University in Saint Louis, School of Law (LLM). I am currently working as a realtor. I am very excited to lead GSTLNC (2022-2024) with great talented executive members who are self-motivated individuals where we are working together with one motto, “let’s work together and bring best for our Nepalese Community.” I would also like to take this opportunity to ‘thank’ all the people of Nepalese origin as well as those who care about Nepal, love Nepal, and want to do something about Nepal. I am also so grateful for all who have contributed to the success of GSTLNC and I appreciate your continued support for our work.

Tripti Niroula
Manisha moved in to St. Louis in 2019. She completed her Masters degree from UMSL in 2021 and currently works as Technology Risk Consultant at Ernst & Young. Manisha loves to travel and spend time with family/friends. She believes GSTLNC is a great platform to unit all Nepalese living in the area and introduce our culture to the next generation.
Namaste, I am a graduate of Missouri State and been in St Louis for over a decade. I have worked in both Government and Top Fortune 500 companies with a certification in the Project Management (PMP)®. I am excited for this opportunity to serve our great Nepali community in the Greater St Louis region.
Mr. Krishodar Bhakta Shrestha is graduate student at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, pursuing his master’s degree in Structural Engineering. Current President of the Sagarmatha Nepalese Student Association at SIUE, he aims to create a better experience for incoming and existing Nepalese students.
Hi, this is ichchha sharma, new executive member of GSTLNC. I am a licensed physical therapist of MO, a mom and a wife. I am currently doing my doctor of physical therapy from Arcadia university. I am interested in social service which is one major factor for me to be a member of GSTLNC. I want to connect every nepali living around G.st louis and help them in need.
Manila Mathema was born and raised in Lalitpur, Nepal. She moved to the USA with her husband, to pursue graduate studies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and Master’s degree in Business Administration. She currently holds a professional career in the field of software product management and operations.
She has been a resident of St. Louis since 2007. Having severed as GSTLNC executive member in the past, she is committed to the continuity of supporting the community. She aspires to expand GSTLNC’s presence in the area and, mentoring towards students and young professionals’ career advancement.
Srijesh was born in Kathmandu, Nepal and moved to St. Louis at the age of five. He has since lived here for 21 years and currently works at Regions Bank. Srijesh has attended GSTLNC events since he was a child and has always enjoyed the festivities. His goal in joining the Executive Committee is to engage Nepalese students and young professionals in the St. Louis area and facilitate increased participation in GSTLNC events and initiatives. In his free time, Srijesh likes to play basketball, create music, and find new restaurants or bars in the area.
Sumeen Dahal
I am a recent college graduate with a Mechanical Engineering Degree, who moved to St. Louis in August 2022. My interests include watching football, cricket, or any sports on TV, reading books and writing poems. I have been involved in a few social/leadership organizations over time and was an event coordinator for Nepal Student Association at UT Tyler, the latest. I want to be an active member of GSTLNC to do good for our Nepalese community while spending time with like-minded people.
Dhiraj was born and raised in Nepal. He earned his undergraduate degree in EE from KU and master’s in EE from SIUE. Dhiraj has lived in St. Louis since 2005 and currently works at BJC. He has volunteered in various Nepali cultural events and activities organized by GSTLNC for several years!
He is happily married with Arpana and has two children, Ilesh and Kabir. In his free time, Dhiraj likes to play pickup soccer, coach his boys’ soccer team and enjoys spending time with his family.
Neelu Panth was born and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. She moved to St. Louis with her husband, Shailesh Panth and her then five-year-old son, Srijesh in 2001 to pursue graduate studies. Neelu holds a master’s degree in social work with a research specialization from the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis and a bachelor’s degree from Delhi University in New Delhi, India.
Neelu has been working in the community development field for many years, first as an educator followed by on-the-ground work in human capital development, community capacity building and organizational development.
Her expertise includes nonprofit management, strategic partnership building, and fund development.
Neelu and her family have been members and supporters of GSTLNC since its inception. “I am honored to provide advisory services and subject matter expertise to GSTLNC that serves as an anchor for the Nepalese community in the St. Louis metro area.
